Ajeeeb, a company established in the Sultanate of Oman (“Ajeeeb”, “we”, “us”), is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. This Policy applies to ajeeeb.com, to the Ajeeeb studio application and to our related services (together, the “service”).

Where a business uses Ajeeeb to process personal information of its own customers, employees or users, that business is the controller of such information and we process it on the business's behalf under our Data Processing Addendum.

Questions, requests and complaints about privacy may be sent to privacy@ajeeeb.com. Section 15 explains how to reach us.

Information you provide to us

  • Account and profile information: your e-mail address, your name, a password, and any display name, username, picture, biography, links or language preference that you choose to add.
  • Workspace and team information: the name of your workspace, the roles of its members, and the e-mail addresses of people you invite.
  • Content you create and upload: your prompts and settings; the images, video, audio and documents you upload as reference material or attach to the assistant (including text we extract from a document so the assistant can read it); the images, video, audio and designs generated for you; your drafts, boards, workflows, characters, worlds, brand kits and conversations with the assistant.
  • Voice samples: if you use voice cloning, the sample you upload and the confirmation you give that you own the voice or have the speaker's permission.
  • Purchase information: the credit pack you buy, the amount and currency, the order and payment references and status that our payment processor sends us, and your credit balance and history. Card details are entered on our payment processor's own page; we do not store card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send us, and your choices about the e-mail we send you.
  • Requests you make: requests to export your data or to erase your account, and their outcome.

Information from linked sign-in

If you sign in with Google, Google provides us with your account identifier, e-mail address, name and profile picture. Google's own privacy policy applies to its services.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and connection information: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system and language, recorded with your sign-in sessions and in our server logs.
  • Usage and security information: the results of the security check that protects our sign-in, sign-up and password forms; counters that enforce fair-use limits; error reports that describe a technical failure, the page or request involved and, for signed-in users, the account affected; and, when monitoring is enabled, sampled measurements of how pages load and navigate.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.

Biometric and sensitive information

Voice samples, and images that show a person's face, can be considered biometric information under some laws. We use such material only to provide the feature you requested — for example, to create and use the voice you cloned or to guide the generation you asked for — on the basis of your consent and the permission you confirm you hold. We do not use it to identify you or anyone else. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to privacy@ajeeeb.com; we then disable the voice and delete the sample. We do not knowingly collect other sensitive information, such as health, genetic, religious or political information, and we ask you not to include it in your inputs.

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the service: to create and manage your account and workspace, to generate your results, to keep your library, and to deliver the features you use.
  • To process payments, to charge and return credits, to keep accurate accounts and to prevent duplicate charges.
  • To keep the service safe and lawful: to authenticate you, to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents, to enforce fair-use limits, and to review content against our Terms of Service and the laws and norms that apply.
  • To communicate with you: to send account, security and transactional notices, to answer your requests, and, with your consent, to send optional messages such as product news.
  • To improve the service, using aggregated and technical information about how it performs.
  • To comply with legal obligations, to respond to lawful requests, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means alone. An automated content review may decline a run; it does not close accounts, and you can ask a person to look at a decision.

  • When you start a run, your prompt, your settings and any reference files for that run are sent to the AI model and compute providers that perform it, and the result is returned to you and stored in your library. Where a run is reviewed for safety, the text under review is processed by a language-model provider for that purpose.
  • We do not use your inputs or results to train our own AI models, and we do not share them between customers.
  • AI providers process your prompts and files under their own terms. For the assistant's conversations, scene and storyboard planning, prompt improvement and safety review, we instruct the language-model provider not to use your text for training; other requests are processed under the providers' own terms. Business customers may ask us which provider terms apply to a given model.
  • A member of our team may look at specific content only to investigate a report of abuse, a safety decision you contested, a support request you made, or a legal requirement.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share personal information only as described below.

  • Service providers that process information on our behalf and under our instructions: hosting and infrastructure providers; AI model and compute providers; e-mail delivery providers; and security and monitoring providers. Each is bound by contract to confidentiality, security and the limits of its task.
  • Our payment processor, OMPAY, which collects your payment details on its own checkout page and confirms payments to us.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
  • Other members of your workspace, who can see the content that lives in the workspace and the names of its members.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, courts and other third parties where the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, to protect the rights, safety or property of any person or of the service, or to enforce our Terms.
  • A successor or acquirer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets. We will notify you before your information is handled under a different privacy policy.
  • Any other person, at your direction or with your consent.

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it or isolate it from active use. In particular:

  • Account, profile, workspace and content information is kept while your account is open and is erased after the 30-day waiting period that follows an erasure request. Erasure runs in recorded stages; a stage that cannot complete automatically is recorded and retried until it completes, and until then the remaining information stays in our systems and is not used for any other purpose.
  • Financial records, including payments and credit history, are kept for the period required by applicable law, with your identity removed once your account is erased.
  • Records of the consents you have given and of security-relevant events are kept, with your identity removed, so that we can show what was agreed and what happened.
  • Voice samples are deleted when you ask us to withdraw your consent or when your account is erased.
  • A data export that you request is available for download for a limited time; after that it can no longer be downloaded, and the file remains in our private storage until we remove it on your request. Files you delete from your library are hidden from the service at once and marked as deleted; they remain in our private storage until we remove them on your request.
  • Account settings: you can review and update your profile and e-mail address, manage your workspace and end your sessions from your settings.
  • Access and portability: from Settings → Your data you can request a copy of the main categories of your data. The file appears in your settings as a download with a link that expires, and one copy can be requested every seven days. If you need information that the file does not contain, write to us and we will provide it.
  • Erasure: from Settings → Your data you can request the erasure of your account. The request takes effect after a 30-day waiting period during which you can cancel it; your personal information is then erased in recorded stages (a stage that cannot complete automatically is recorded and retried until it completes), and your identity is removed from the records that we must keep (section 6).
  • Marketing: you can stop optional e-mail at any time with the unsubscribe link in each message. We continue to send the account and security notices that the service requires.
  • Voice cloning: you can withdraw the consent you gave for a voice sample by writing to privacy@ajeeeb.com; we disable the voice and delete the sample.
  • Cookies: see our Cookie Policy for the cookies we use and how to manage them.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing for such a signal to switch off.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to correct or restrict the use of your information, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Sections 13 and 14 describe the rights of users in Europe and in the United States. To exercise any right, write to privacy@ajeeeb.com from the e-mail address on your account or sign in and use your settings, so that we can verify your identity. We respond within the time that applicable law requires and do not charge for a request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse and alteration. These include encryption of data in transit and, where our providers support it, at rest; access controls that limit who can reach personal information; separation of each workspace's content from others; protection of passwords and access keys in hashed form; automated defences against abuse; and confidentiality obligations for our personnel.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify the competent authority and the affected users without undue delay and within the periods that applicable law requires, and we will tell you what happened and what you can do.

We are established in the Sultanate of Oman. Our service providers process personal information in other countries, including the United States, Europe and Asia. Where personal information is transferred to a country whose laws may not provide the same level of protection as yours, we rely on contractual safeguards — standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent terms — together with the security measures described in section 8, and, where the law of Oman requires it, on your consent, which you give when you accept this Policy. You may ask us for information about the safeguards that apply to a particular transfer.

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not offer accounts to them. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, write to privacy@ajeeeb.com and we will delete it.

The service may contain links to websites and services operated by others, and some features rely on third parties such as our payment processor and Google. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read. This Policy does not apply to information that you provide directly to a third party.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page and record the change in the version history. For a change that materially affects how we use your personal information, we notify you by e-mail or within the service before it takes effect, and we ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
