A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device and reads on later visits. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another organisation through that website are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.

Browsers also offer local storage, which lets a website keep information on your device for its own use. We use local storage for the limited purposes described in section 4. We do not use pixels, beacons or fingerprinting.

This Policy applies to ajeeeb.com, to the Ajeeeb studio application and to the servers that support them. How we handle the personal information that these technologies may involve is described in our Privacy Policy.

Every cookie we set is strictly necessary for a function you have asked for: staying signed in, completing a sign-in with Google securely, returning to a purchase you started before signing in, or keeping the language you chose. We do not set advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party scripts for those purposes.

Because none of the cookies we use requires your consent, the service does not display a cookie banner. If we ever introduce a cookie that requires consent, we will ask for it before setting the cookie and update this Policy first.

The studio keeps a small number of preferences and drafts on your device so that a page can restore its state after a reload and remember how you like it laid out — for example, a draft you were typing, the progress of an upload, a display setting or the fact that you dismissed an introductory tour. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us as such, and can be cleared through your browser's site-data settings. Some display preferences are kept per browser rather than per account, so they may persist if more than one person uses the same browser.

  • Our sign-in, sign-up and password forms include a security check provided by a third-party security provider to distinguish people from automated scripts. The check runs from the provider's own domain and may place a cookie or local-storage entry of its own on those pages only.
  • Our payment processor's checkout page is a separate website that sets its own cookies under its own policy.
  • If you sign in with Google, Google's cookies apply on Google's pages under Google's policy.

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser's settings; most browsers also let you clear a site's local storage. Because every cookie we set is necessary for the service to work, blocking them has consequences: blocking the sign-in cookie signs you out and prevents signing in, and blocking the language cookies means the site shows its default language on each visit. Signing out of the studio removes the sign-in cookie.

We will update this Policy when the cookies we use change, and the version history below records each update. If you have questions about our use of cookies, write to privacy@ajeeeb.com.

  • Version 2.0. Rewritten around the cookies the service actually uses, all of them strictly necessary, with a description of local storage and of third-party cookies.
  • Version 1.0; superseded by this version.
